A table laid with wine, food and bath products for arriving guests

Included with every stay

The Arrival

Part of the service

The first hour in the house is the one people remember. We treat it as part of the stay, not an extra.

Before you arrive, the house is opened, cooled and lit. Wine goes in the fridge, bread and fruit come from the nearest market, and the bathrooms are stocked with the same names you would choose yourself — Kiehl's, Floris London, Santa Maria Novella. There is nothing to buy and nothing to unpack. It is simply how a Maison Veranera stay begins.

Three arrivals

Matched to the house

The Coastal Arrival — arrival experience

The Coastal Arrival

Salt air, cold glass, open windows

For the houses on the water. Something chilled and something salty within a minute of putting your bags down, and products that work after a day in the sun rather than competing with it.

On the table

  • Perrier-Jouët, chilled
  • Ortiz anchovies and tuna belly
  • Marcona almonds
  • Manzanilla olives
  • San Pellegrino, still and sparkling

In the bathroom

  • Floris London Cefiro candle
  • Votary Super Seed hand balm
  • Nuxe after-sun lotion
  • Kiehl's lip balm
The Terra Arrival — arrival experience

The Terra Arrival

Long table, low light, nothing rushed

For the inland and countryside houses. Weightier, warmer, built around a first evening that happens at the kitchen table rather than out.

On the table

  • Ribera del Duero red
  • Cinco Jotas jamón ibérico
  • Manchego and quince
  • Valrhona chocolate
  • Bread and olive oil from the village

In the bathroom

  • Santa Maria Novella soap
  • L'Occitane shea hand cream
  • Floris London Cinnamon and Tangerine candle
  • Byredo body wash
The Late Arrival — arrival experience

The Late Arrival

For landing after dark

Deliberately quiet. Chosen for guests arriving late — nothing that needs cooking, nothing loud, and a pillow spray that does most of the work.

On the table

  • Mariage Frères tea
  • Fortnum & Mason biscuits
  • Local honey and butter
  • Fresh fruit and bread for the morning
  • Illy coffee, ground

In the bathroom

  • This Works Deep Sleep pillow spray
  • Malin+Goetz bath oil
  • Kiehl's hand wash
  • Floris London Sandalwood and Patchouli candle

Always in the house

Whichever arrival you choose

Some things are in every Maison Veranera home regardless of the season, the house, or the occasion.

  • Bread and fruit from the nearest market
  • Coffee, tea and fresh milk
  • Olive oil, salt and the basics for a first meal
  • Still and sparkling water, chilled
  • Full-size bath and body products in every bathroom
  • Flowers cut the morning of your arrival

How it works

01

Tell us the occasion

At booking, let us know why you are coming and anything you cannot eat. If you say nothing, we match the arrival to the house.

02

We shop that morning

Nothing is shipped ahead. The wine is chilled, the bread is from the village, and the flowers are cut the same day.

03

It is already there

You open the door to lights on, music low, and everything in place. Nothing to arrange and nothing to pay.

A basket of shampoos, balms, skincare and make-up laid out on a bathroom counter

The basket

Beauty and cosmetics, waiting in the bathroom

Every house has a basket on the counter — shampoo and conditioner in full sizes, skincare, balms, and enough make-up to get through a first evening if yours is still in a suitcase somewhere. All from names you already know, all included, all yours to open.

Hair

  • Kérastase shampoo and conditioner, full size
  • Christophe Robin scalp scrub
  • Olaplex No.7 bonding oil
  • Sun-and-salt hair mask for the coastal houses

Body and bath

  • Kiehl's Creme de Corps body lotion
  • Floris London bath essence
  • Santa Maria Novella soap
  • Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse
  • Susanne Kaufmann bath salts

Skin

  • Augustinus Bader The Cream, travel size
  • La Roche-Posay SPF 50
  • Caudalie micellar cleansing water
  • 111SKIN under-eye masks

Make-up

  • Chanel Les Beiges tinted balm
  • Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lip and cheek
  • Clinique High Impact mascara
  • Bobbi Brown blotting papers and cotton pads
  • Tweezers, cotton buds and a spare hairbrush

Balms and scent

  • Votary cleansing oil and hand balm at every sink
  • Dr.Hauschka lip balm
  • Egyptian Magic all-purpose balm
  • Byredo hand wash
  • Floris London candle in the main bathroom

Tell us a brand you cannot travel without, or something your skin does not agree with, and the basket is put together around it.

Occasions

And when you are travelling for a reason, the arrival changes with it

A cake and a cold bottle for a birthday. A chef and a boat for a honeymoon. Magnums and a long table for a graduation. All of it sits on top of the standard arrival and comes with the house.

  • Honeymoon
  • Graduation
